How to Deposit SOL (and USDC) with Phantom: Step by Step
From zero to your first deposit: set up Phantom, buy SOL or USDC, send it on the Solana network, and avoid the mistakes that lose money.
Depositing on a Solana casino takes a couple of minutes once you've done it once. The first time, there are a few things to get right, mostly about using the right network. This guide uses Phantom, the most popular Solana wallet, but Solflare and Backpack work the same way.
1. Set up a wallet
- Install Phantom from phantom.com, as a browser extension or the phone app. Only install it from the official site or your phone's app store.
- Create a new wallet and write the recovery phrase on paper. Anyone with those words controls your wallet; never type them into a website, and no support team will ever ask for them.
- Copy your wallet address from the top of the app. That's where you'll receive SOL.
2. Get some SOL (or USDC)
You can buy SOL inside Phantom with a card through its built-in providers, or buy it on an exchange and withdraw it to your wallet. When you withdraw from an exchange, choose the Solana network. That's the one setting that matters most: SOL or USDC sent over a different network won't arrive.
Solacrash also accepts USDC and USDT on Solana. They're converted to SOL at the market price when they arrive, with a small conversion fee shown in the deposit window. If you already hold stablecoins, that saves you a swap.
3. Find your Solacrash deposit address
Sign in, open Wallet, and choose Deposit. You'll see a Solana address that belongs to your account alone, with a QR code. It never changes, so you can save it as a contact in Phantom.
4. Send it
- In Phantom, tap Send and choose SOL (or USDC/USDT).
- Paste your Solacrash deposit address, or scan the QR code.
- Enter the amount. Leave a little SOL in Phantom, around 0.002, so you can pay network fees later.
- Check the first and last few characters of the address, then confirm.
Solana network fees are a fraction of a cent. The deposit is credited once the transaction finalises, usually in under a minute, and your balance updates on its own.
Mistakes that lose money
- Sending on the wrong network. SOL or USDC sent from Ethereum, Tron or BNB Chain won't arrive. If you did it by mistake, contact support with the transaction ID.
- Sending a different token. Only SOL, USDC and USDT on Solana are credited.
- Sending less than the minimum. The deposit window shows the minimum; smaller amounts are ignored.
- Fake wallet apps and fake support. Download wallets only from official sources, and never share your recovery phrase.
Before you can withdraw
Each deposit has to be played through once before it can be withdrawn, which stops the casino being used to move money around. Our guide to how withdrawals work covers the rest: minimums, fees and how fast payouts arrive.
Not ready to deposit?
Every game on Solacrash has a play-money mode. Try Crash, Mines or Plinko first, and deposit only when you're sure.
