Plinko Explained: Rows, Risk Levels and the 1000× Slots
How Plinko works on Solacrash: what rows and risk change, how often the edge slots hit, the real chance of 1000×, and why every table returns about 99%.
In Plinko you drop a ball into a triangle of pegs. At every row it bounces left or right, 50/50, and it lands in a slot at the bottom. Each slot has a multiplier. The middle slots pay least, the edges pay most.
Rows: how wide the board is
You can play 8, 12 or 16 rows. More rows means more slots and longer odds on the edges. On 8 rows a ball reaches a given edge slot 1 time in 256. On 16 rows it's 1 in 65,536, which is why the 16-row edges can pay so much.
Risk: where the money sits
Risk doesn't change your average return. It moves money between the middle and the edges. Low risk pays something close to your stake most of the time. High risk pays very little in the middle and a lot on the edges.
| Board | Return | Chance of at least 1× | Edge slot pays | Either edge hit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 rows, low | 99% | 72.7% | 5.6× | 1 in 128 |
| 8 rows, high | 99% | 28.9% | 29× | 1 in 128 |
| 12 rows, medium | 99% | 38.8% | 33× | 1 in 2,048 |
| 12 rows, high | 99% | 14.6% | 170× | 1 in 2,048 |
| 16 rows, low | 99% | 80.4% | 16× | 1 in 32,768 |
| 16 rows, high | 99% | 21.0% | 1000× | 1 in 32,768 |
What are the odds of 1000×?
The 1000× slots only exist on 16 rows at high risk. The ball has to bounce the same way all 16 times, so the chance of landing in either 1000× slot is 1 in 32,768. It happens, but plan on it being rare. In between, most high-risk drops land on 0.2×.
Is there a best setting?
Every table pays back about 99% on average, so there's no setting that wins over time. Choose by how you like to play. Low risk is steady and slow. High risk is quiet most of the time, then occasionally huge. Auto-drop with a small stake on 16 rows high is the classic way to chase the edges without burning through a balance quickly.
Is the path decided in advance?
Yes. The moment you drop, the server works out all 16 bounces from your seed pair and a counter, and settles the bet. The animation just shows that path. You can check any drop on the fairness page after rotating your seed.
